HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

So Saturday we threw a big birthday bash for baby Jorge!!! It was awesome!

The party was great! We had a big Carne Asada grill with enough food to feed the entire city of Phoenix, everyone swam, the cake was delicious and everybody got along wonderfully. We couldn't have asked for the party to be any better. We love you Jorge Michael! HAPPY 1st Birthday!

Just Keep Swimming- Dori

Today, Jorge, Mikee and I went to the new Sealife Aquarium in Tempe. We were very excited and when we got to the second fish tank the battery in my camera died. Yup, I was that lucky. I was still able to snap a couple shots though.

This new aquarium was pretty awesome. I'm bummed I wasn't able to take more pictures. Maybe we will go again one day and I'll be smart enough to charge the camera before hand (key word being maybe). Overall, it was a good day. It was something new and exciting to see.

So Gramma came from oregon for a couple weeks, so of course I had to take pictures. Gramma even gave me permission to blog post this picture (even though I would have anyway). 

Yes, I am a boring blogger. I do this for the pictures, not the stories. Enjoy!

I know, I know....

....... I'm slow. It has been about 2 months since the last blog, and I apologize. Trust me, I have a reason. My computer has crashed which means I have to use Jorge's..... when he isn't using it. And sometimes that is just impossible. Also, I have crappy cameras, so all the pictures are grainy. 

On the bright side, I AM BLOGGING!

Just as an update:

-Jorge Michael will be 7 months old in 3 days

-He is now starting to crawl

-He almost has his first tooth

-His pediatrician wonders how he can hold his head up because it is so big

-A couple days ago he played in his own poo..... and enjoyed it very much

-He loves vegetables, especially sweet potatoes

-His newest thing is spitting when he gets excited

-And I can't think of anything else right now

Caterpillar Crawl

So, baby Jorge is starting to move around........ alot! It is quite hilarious. not only does he roll like a ball everywhere, he crawls like a caterpillar. first his knees go under and the butt is high in the air, then he pushes off and pulls himself with his arms. It's funny to watch, but I really have to keep a close eye on him now. 

This afternoon he was sound asleep, so I put him in his crib. a little bit later I hear squealing, so I go in the room to get him cause I know he is awake. Baby Jorge sleeps on one end of the crib and his stuffed animals sleep on the other. When I go in he is on the other side of the crib playing with his toys. I couldn't help but laugh. He s growing up too fast!

So, I am just blogging about how stinking adorable my son is (yes, I am copying you, Sarah. Sorry) But can you blame me? And it also gives me a chance to post some updated pictures!
